Algebra

 

Standards where I performed well: uses the structure of an expression to identify ways to rewrite it. For example, see as, thus recognizing it as a difference of squares that can be factored as. This is mainly on factoring and I’m confident with this.

 

Standards upon which I might improve: rearranges formulae to highlight a quantity of interest, using the same reasoning as in solving equations. For example, rearrange Ohm’s law V =IR to highlight resistance R.

 

How I might improve upon those standards: I used to struggle on word problems on the test. The way I can improve this is to practice more by choosing a few questions from textbook.
