Renaissance and Social Media End of Unit Reflection

 

 

1) Answer Essential Questions: How can new ideas change societies?

 

Ans: New ideas can change societies by spreading news around the area and let Apeople know what is happening. When one person's ideas change, he might also tell his friends and his friends also can tell the other friends! After everybody changed their idea, they belief and the way they act also will changed. For example, people explore the world rather than sitting in a house and pray for god.

 

 

 

2) How does what you learned connect to the real world?

 

Ans: I have learned about technology and social media. For technoloy, I have learned about phone, computer, internet and many many more. For social media, I have learned about cyberbullying, news about social media and the positive and the negative effects on human. In social media, we can chat, post pictures and many more. By doing that, you have already connected to the world. However, there are also the positive and the negative effects on social media. Some of the positive effects are it's convinience, you can make friends and it can be one of your hobbies. But the negative effects are cyberbullying and people commmiting suicide. People can access it on their phone or tablet at anytime and anywhere. While technology, we use technology for social media, LINE or make a phone call. Which is connected to the world.

 

 

 

3) How did you develop or grow as a student through this unit?

 

Ans: I learned a lot more in this unit, which means that I learned about the changes in science, math, pictures, belief and people during the renaissance period. I also developed by searching for more information in the internet and read from my notes. I also learned about what people did during the renaissance and what have changed. For example, "humanism". Humanism is to learn new things and appreciate the word. People want to go out and explore, rather than believing in god and church.

 

 

 

4) As you look at the work you have completed throughout this unit, what are you strengths?

 

Ans: I can explain more in details and giving examples. I think I also did well on grit because I alway keeps trying harder and harder and never give up. One of the work that I did was the Renaissance art. That work reflects that I know know what is perceptive and able to draw a realistic pictue. Another piece of work that did was the technology timeline. That work reflects that I now know the basic informaton on each of the period.

 

 

5) As you look at the work you have completed throughout this unit, what do you think you could improve?

 

Ans: I think I could put more information and therefore I could get a better grade. Next time, I think I also need to study more because in the test I forgot some important information and that is no good. That is it. I think I already did well and I will continue to keep trying and trying.
