Hi
Welcome to Joey's website!
Parallel and Perpendicular lines
1.) How does this connect to the real world?
Ans: This chapter really connect to the real world because it let me know how useful it is to have a parallel and perpendicualr lines. For example, a soccer field. The soccer field is in a rectangle so they have 2 pairs of parallel sides. Also, this chapter is really useful to architecture because building should be straight and so we know that to make it straight we need to make it perpendicular to the ground.
2.) What do you learn the most, or anything that is the most interesting, difficult or developed?
Ans: The most interesting thing in this unit is that I learned a lot more about soccer field, eventhough I play soccer everyday. I have found out that we need exactly four 90 degrees angle to make it a rectangle. The reason for this is because when we play soccer, we don't really focus on the lines and shape.
