1.) Why do people make models and drawings before the actual length products?

 

Ans: The reason for this is because people want to make a plan so that they can imagine how their products are going to be like. They also don't want to make any mistake becase that may causes a lot of money to fix. Also the plan help you with little small mistake. For example, if you build a 2 meter square toilet immediately then later you realize that it is too small.

 

2.) What are some things that went wrong and needed correcting or things that you might do differently next time?

 

Ans: What went wrong is my scale drawing. At first, my sofa isn't on the right scale because it is too narrow for people to sit in. However, I fixed it already. Things that I might do differently next time can be creating more scale drawing with different room's shape so I can have many different ideas.

 

3.) Were you surprised by any facts that you uncovered during this project? (Example, the cost of paint, cost of flooring, time it takes to make back fifteen thousand dollars?)

 

Ans: I only surprised by the cost of the products in the given website. Some of the products like sofa and bed are quite expensive, compared to Thai online website. There is also products, such as the kithcne pot for cooking. Most of them in the website said that they cost more than 1000 baht, while in Thailand it costs only 500 baht.

 

4.) How does this relate to other areas of study besides math?

 

Ans: This relate to engineering, architecture and IT. The reason for this is because designer plan before actually building the actual products. Using Homestyler is a part architecture because you are designing and it requires computer and internet.
