1) Essential Questions

• What would the world be like without electricity?

 

Ans: The world would be dark because there is no electricity and therefore no light bulbs. Also, some of the devices like computer, labtop, or mobile phone will dissapear because we can't charge it and so we can't use it. However, the good thing is that we don't have to be aware of electric shock and we don't need to invent electric safety features to protect us.

 

• How and why do electric circuits work?

 

Ans: Electric circuits work because of the parts of the circuit, such as wire, light bulb, or a switch. How does it work is that the charged particle travel from a negative terminal through the light bulb and the back to the positive terminal. Electric circuit only work if the circuit is closed. In other word,, a closed circui is a circuit that electrons can flow in a complete loop.

 

2) How does this connect to the real world?

 

Ans: This really connect to the real world because electricity can cause some serious injuries or dealth. Learning about this unit help me to learn a lot of safety devices and I also learned how to prevent such disasters.

Ans: This electrical safety project was interesting because I learned a lot in this unit and I know how to be safe and prevent bad events to happen.
