1918, the end of the war

 

 

 

  • In the overall war effort, the empire contribution were really important.

  • Ottoman army had restricted Allied group, keeping them away from theatre in europe which they would have been use them them to against the German and Austrian forces.

  • Their success at Gallipoli was an important factor which bring the collapse of Russia, resulting the revolution in 1917.

  • On 30 October 1918, the Armistice of Mudros was signed, ending Ottoman involvement in World War 1

  • Self defense and political ambition helped them to fight in the end.

  • Ottoman empire ended in 1918.

  • Later Ottoman empire separated into different countries such as, Israel, Iraq.
