Asian Trade Reflection

 

 

 

1) Answer Essential Questions:

 

How does trade influence people’s lives?

 

Ans: They learned a lot of new things and culture from other countries. For example, when the Americans arrived in Japan, Japan got to see things that they never seen before. Later Japan decided to trade with them and they got to use weapons. Also, Japan learn about the world, such as how other countries were different from Japan.

 

 

2) How does what you learned connect to the real world?

 

Ans: It really connect to the real world because without Japan we wouldn’t get to learn about the tokugawa period. Without trading, Japan wouldn’t be a modern country because they became modern afterward. Also, learning about why Japan wanted to isolate are really important because it explains the conflict that were happening. To conclude. learning about Japan is important for everyone because Japan has a lot of old japanese building that are present today.

Ans: This is a very interesting project because I never learned about this before. At first I thought that China was just a country that has a lot of power. Later, I learned that China wanted to isolate and then people started to have an opium war, which causes a lot of problems.
