Chapter 6

  1. Where did I struggle? I think this is the toughest chapter I've learned so far because I got confused with different laws and when to apply them.

  2. What questions do I still have?

  3. What am I going to do to strengthen my understanding? I should memorize the law better so that I know which law is suitable for the question.

Two key things you learned from this unit. (What are your understandings? What are you taking away from this? What real world applications have you seen? What links to other subjects did you see?)

-I learn about conditional probability, law of bases, and law of total probability

-I learn that this chapter really apply to our real life because we can predict the probability or the chance that a certain will happen.

In this activity, we conduct an experiment to see if a coin flip is a good way to decide who start first in a sport match. We simulated 250 coin tosses on a graphing calculator and the result was that there were more head than tail, which is surprising.
