Standards where I performed well: combines standard function types using arithmetic operations. For example, build a function that models the temperature of a cooling body by adding a constant function to a decaying exponential, and relate these functions to the model.

 

Standards upon which I might improve: graphs polynomial functions, identifying zeros when suitable factorizations are available, and showing end behavior.

 

How I might improve upon those standards: I’m pretty confident with factoring, however I sometimes struggle to simplify. For example, I always struggle with the question that has the first term as 2x to the second power. To improve, I can look up worksheet in the internet or textbook.
