Hi
Welcome to Joey's website!
Language Arts Posters for School, Berkeley Times Spread
1.) How does the audience and client you are working for effect your design?
Ans: The client really affected me because I need to fix a lot of errors and need a lot of improvement. The client will never like my design because they want it on an acceptable way. Therefore, I need to really follow what the client wants. I’m doing for elementary, so the icon, background, and other elements need to look kiddy. In the end, our team receive a comment about the background. Our first background was a rainbow and that doesn’t satisfy the client. Then we change it to a happy blue background and the client like it. Not just that, we also changed the icon and we need to figure out how to fix them by watching the tutorials. That is also one of the challenge for my team. To conclude, we need to satisfy the client by following their comments.
(This is the most important part, and where you can show me that you do consider the client and audience when you are designing, and not just your own personal style. Creating something that you like is easy, but trying to bring someone else’s idea to life is much more difficult. Please talk to me about this. THINK DEEPLY and give a thoughtful response in paragraph form.)
2.) When creating a designing for a client/or with an audience in mind what are your strengths (what parts do you find easy)?
Ans: The easy part when creating a design for a client is we don’t really need to plan any work before we start. For this project, the client gave us the finished plan for us. The only thing we need to do is to design a similar poster and follow their suggestions.
3.)As you look at the work you have completed for a client or specific audience, what do you think you could improve on (what was challenging or difficult for you)?
Ans: I think what I can improve next time is to work separately with the group and divide an equal amount of work to each people. By doing that, we can keep up a good pace without slowing our team down, since only one people can access the illustrator at a time. For example, when Siam was working on a file then I open it, we both can’t save the work and that created a lot of problem because one of us need to save it in a different file.
