Hi
Welcome to Joey's website!
Chapter 2
-
Where did I struggle? I think at first I struggle on identify which type of sampling method is suitable.
-
What questions do I still have? What is the different between stratified and cluster sampling.
-
What am I going to do to strengthen my understanding? I should study more independently and do more research.
Two key things you learned from this unit. (What are your understandings? What are you taking away from this? What real world applications have you seen? What links to other subjects did you see?)
-I learned different types of sampling method, such as simple random sampling, stratified sampling, and cluster sampling.
-I learned that in an experiment, the tester are changing the characteristic of the object, while the characteristic of an object doesn't change in an observational study.
In the stroop effect activity, we were trying to see the proportion of 20 and 40 numbers.
In the farmer activity, we first learn how to use excel to create data display. The experiment I did was to test everyone in class and see who read the faster with different colors on word.
