Unit Overview

 

Unit Overview: We started this unit off by going over the things that we already had previous knowledge about when it comes to light. We used this prior knowledge to get a more in depth understanding about light and light waves. We watched videos and completed labs to understand how both mirrors and lenses work. By the end of the section we were able to link a lot of the ideas about light to everyday contraptions such as microscopes, glasses, carnival mirrors!

 

Action Plan for Improvement

 

-I struggle on some of the online virtual labs.

-I don't think I have any question.

-I can practice some questions on textbook for a better understanding and know what the questions are asking.

 

Things I learned from this unit

 

-I learned that light can be reflected through a mirror.

-I learned that there is a convex and concave mirror.
