Personal Unit Overview: What did you achieve this unit?

What I achieve this unit is that I learned about the situation in each continents. For example, Germany and U.S. had a rough time dealing with their economic problem. I did really well on the test and I am proud of myself.

Enduring Understandings: How did WWI affect the world?

Countries from around the world were involved in the conflict for the first time. Also, the battle raged not just in the trenches of the Western Front but in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Therefore, it is a big event of the war, Many people died and there were lots of invention to fight with. For example, airplane that drop bomb to kill people on the ground, or poison gas, which was introduced by the Germans and causes blindness or severe blisters, or choking. Furthermore, WWI causes a lot of economic problem, since people lost their jobs and doesn’t have enough money to live.
